Case2 History ---- The patient is a 76 year old man with memory and balance difficulties and imaging problems. Operative procedure: Stealth-guided stereotactic brain biopsy. ---- 2A1,2 MRI shows a large infiltrating left subependymal mass centered in the thalamus with involvement of the temporal lobe, brainstem, and basal ganglia. The lesion extends across the midline to the right thalamus and subthalamic region. The T1-weighted image fails to enhance with contrast (2A1) but is hyperintense with T2-weighted imaging (2A2).
