An immunohistochemical stain for IDH1 shows strong positivity within neoplastic cells. ---- Not shown: Ki-67 shows a focally elevated labeling index of 17.1%. ---- Comment: The findings are those of an oligodendroglioma, WHO grade 2, with an increased proliferative index. We note that the patient's specimen from 2002 was reported to have shown 1p/19q deletions. (IDH1 IHC)
