Case 11 History ---- The patient is a 64 year old man with a history of multiple resections for an oligodendroglial tumor in the right temporal cortex beginning 23 years before. According the provided paperwork there was co-deletion of 1p and 19q as well as methylation of the MGMT gene promoter.
11A Sections show a malignant oligodendroglioma with frequent microcystic change separated by branching small vessels that occasionally display microvascular proliferation.
