Case 12 History ---- The patient is a 54 year old man with progressive headache. Brain MRI in 4/2018 reveals a 7.3 x 5.8 cm necrotic, cystic, partially hemorrhagic rim enhancing mass in the right frontal region with significant adjacent mass effect. ---- 12A The H&E stained sections show an oligodendroglioma with an elevated mitotic activity (> 7 mitotic figures/10 HPF). Focal areas of microvascular proliferation and necrosis are also appreciated.
