Mitotic activity is highlighted by PHH3 immunoreactivity. MIB-1 antibody reveals a focally elevated proliferation index. ---- Not shown: There is focal reactivity for pan-keratin and WT-1, and no reactivity for LCA in the tumor cells. Scattered tumor cell nuclei show reactivity for p53. Neurofilament highlights an infiltrative pattern of the tumor. There is retained nuclear reactivity for ATRX in the tumor cells. ---- FISH reveals evidence of 1p/19q co-deletion. ---- Comment: The histomorphological, immunohistochemical, and cytogenetic findings are consistent with anaplastic oligodendroglioma, IDH1 (p. R132H) mutant, 1p/19q co-deleted, WHO grade 3.
