Sections from the "intradural tumor" show a cellular neoplasm arranged in sheets and small nests with delicate vasculature and a myxoid to fibrous background. The tumor cells are loosely cohesive with large round nuclei and moderate eosinophilic cytoplasm. Mitoses are moderate in frequency, up to 3/10 high powered fields.
