Case 5 History ---- The patient is a 73 year old man with a left frontal glioma. Operative procedure: Stealth-guided left frontal craniotomy for tumor resection. ---- 5A1-4 Monotonous malignant tumor cells display subpial condensation, perivascular and perineuronal satelliting. Mitotic activity is easy to identify and up to 4-9 mitoses/10HPF. Increased mitotic activity is sufficient for the diagnosis of anaplastic oligodendroglioma, WHO grade 3.
