Immunostaining for IDH1 is strongly positive among the tumor cells. ---- Comment: The morphological features and immunohistochemical profile of this tumor are diagnostic of an anaplastic oligodendroglioma (WHO Grade 3). This tumor also showed deletions of both 1p and 19q by FISH.
