Case 2, Resection #4 (2020) ---- 2J1-6 This recurrent glial neoplasm has moderate cellularity, arranged in a vague perivascular pseudo-rosetted architecture. The tumor cells have abundant fibrillary eosinophilic cytoplasm, round to oval nuclei with mostly sharp nuclear membranes and frequent nucleoli. Mitotic activity is focally increased to 12 per 10 high power fields and there is moderate to focally marked pleomorphism. The blood vessels in some foci have plump endothelial cell lining and rare multilayering, suspicious for incipient microvascular proliferation. Definitive tumor necrosis is not appreciated.
