3B1,2 The vasculature is delicate, and subtle hints of perivascular pseudorosette formation are noted in a few areas in the intraoperative cytological smear which also highlights long cell processes attached to vessels. Calcifications are noted in the smear but not in the "permanent" neurosurgical specimen. (H&E)
