Case 1 History ---- The patient is a 22 year old woman who for nearly two years has had staring episodes associated with lip smacking, amnesia, and incontinence. MRI showed a right temporal mass measuring 3 cm, but at the time she was pregnant and the tumor was followed. On repeat MRI the lesion is a 3.2 cm peripherally heterogeneous enhancing intra-axial solitary mass in the inferior medial right temporal lobe. There is minimal adjacent edema and hypointense lesions suggesting calcification or hemorrhage. Operative procedure: Stealth craniotomy for biopsy. ---- 1A1-3 MRI Studies: 1A1 The lesion is hyperintense in this FLAIR scan.
