Immunostaining for Ki67 is quite variable but demonstrates a proliferation rate of up to 3.7%. ---- Ancillary data (not shown): BRAF V600E mutation was detected by FISH. ---- The morphological and immunohistochemical features of this tumor are most consistent with those of a pleomorphic xanthoastrocytoma (WHO Grade 2).
