Type IV collagen outlines groups of tumor cells and individual tumor cells. (Collagen IV IHC) ---- Ancillary data (not shown): Occasional tumor cells also stain strongly with an antibody to chromogranin. A stain for leukocyte common antigen highlights the small lymphocytes around blood vessels and scattered throughout the tumor but does not stain the tumor cells. The tumor cells are also negative for cytokeratin and HMB-45.
