5C1-3 A synaptophysin immunostain shows strong staining of a population of both large and small cells including a few large pleomorphic cells similar to those staining with GFAP. Based on the frequency of pleomorphic cells staining with GFAP and synaptophysin in some regions of the neoplasm, it is likely that some cells stain for both markers
