Case 10 History ---- The patient was a 15 year old girl with a history of tuberous sclerosis, multiple brain tubers and a subependymal brain lesion, located in the region of the left foramen of Monro. Operative procedure: Craniotomy and resection.---- 10A1-3 Tumor tissue is composed of relatively bland appearing tumor cells that are arranged in a nested pattern separate by spindled delicate processes. The tumor cells are round to polygonal with centrally located vesicular nuclei and prominent nucleoli. Most of the tumor cells have moderate amounts of eosinophilic cytoplasm.
