Case 6 History ---- The patient is a 4-1/2-year-old female with a history of tuberous sclerosis, a seizure disorder, developmental delay, and enlarging subependymal giant cell astrocytomas. Serial neuroimaging shows interval enlargement of her subependymal giant astrocytomas, and new dilatation of the left lateral ventricle with some evidence of obstruction and mass effect. Operative procedure: Left frontal craniotomy for resection of left intraventricular tumor via a transcallosal approach. ---- 6A1 CT scan showing multiple areas of calcification in intraventricular foci which correspond to several SEGA and possible candle gutterings.
