6B1-3 The neurosurgical specimen consists of multiple fragments of neoplastic tissue composed of large, epithelioid tumor cells with abundant glassy eosinophilic cytoplasm with a subtle basophilic rim, well-defined cell borders, one or more eccentrically located round to oval nuclei, finely speckled chromatin and occasional pseudoinclusions, and prominent nucleoli. Only rare mitotic figures are identified.
