Case 11 History ---- This patient was a 68 year old right handed man with hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, obstructive sleep apnea, and various other conditions who was found unconscious in an extended care facility. Head CT showed a left thalamic intracranial hemorrhage extending into the left cerebral peduncle. However, he deteriorated the next day and his family decided to withdraw care.
