Case 7 History ---- The patient was a 47-year-old man with no significant past medical history, who presented with approximately 1 month of word finding difficulties, malaise, memory loss, and blurry vision.. There is T2 hyperintense signal capping the lateral ventricles, consistent with transependymal flow of CSF in the setting of hydrocephalus. The imaging impression was highly suggestive of central neurocytoma. Operative procedure: Craniotomy for intraventricular tumor resection, with intraoperative MRI.
