23C6B-E The tumor cells are numerous with modest cytoplasm and prominent nucleoli. In some areas the tumor cells were spindled. Although microscopically it resembled a (amelanotic) melanoma in some areas, molecular studies were decisive showing the tumor was, as was expected, a metastatic CIC-DUX4 sarcoma.
