1A1 Metastases Melanoma (Case 1) 3A
At autopsy, metastatic melanoma involved viscera (carcinomatosis), including brain, pituitary, heart, lung, liver, pancreas, stomach, kidneys, bone marrow, thyroid, parathyroid, and prostate. ---- 1A1-3 The extent of cortical involvement is amazing with metastases ranging from several centimeters to pinpoint. One large hemorrhage is found in the right parieto-temporal lobe.
