The brainstem and spinal cord shows widespread, regionally continuous involvement of the leptomeninges by the carcinoma in a pattern consistent with leptomeningeal carcinomatosis. There is multifocal extension of the neoplasm into the brain parenchyma along Virchow-Robin spaces. ---- Neuro Final Diagnosis: Metastatic squamous cell carcinoma consistent with origin from vulva, primarily involving the leptomeninges in a multifocal fashion with extensive, continuous involvement over the brainstem and spinal cord consistent with ‘leptomeningeal carcinomatosis’, and multifocal parenchymal invasion along Virchow-Robin spaces.
