1A3 Metastases, Lung primary (Case 1) X 13
1A3,4 There is a mild degree of diffuse leptomeningeal cloudiness at the base of the brain where the course of the cranial nerves and vessels are somewhat obscured. The vessels are dissected from the base of the brain with extreme difficulty. The leptomeninges appear to be opacified, thickened and tightly adherent in the area surrounding the vessels, particularly deep within the Sylvian fissures. The external configuration of the brainstem and cerebellum appears within normal limits.
