3D2 Carcinoma, renal, lepto (Case 3) N10 2X
3D2,3 Sections of the spinal cord show generally well-preserved grey and white matter tracts, apart from the representative section from the lower lumbar level which shows prominent central chromatolysis within anterior horn neurons. In the same lumbar segment there is involvement by carcinomatous meningitis as well as carcinoma invading into nerve roots. Carcinomatous meningitis is present in the cervical and thoracic levels as well.
