4B1-3 Sections of the cerebral cortices show a metastatic low grade angiosarcoma. Significant numbers of diffuse, neuritic plaques and rare neurofibrillary tangles are seen in the frontal and hippocampal sections; Pick bodies, ballooned cells or “glial plaques” are not demonstrated. The number and distribution of senile plaques and neurofibrillary tangles present, with the presence of numerous neurons with granulovacuolar degeneration and Hirano bodies in the hippocampi are diagnostic of Alzheimer's Disease Neuropathologic Change (H&E)
