5A1,2 A 2.5 cm metastatic nodule was present in the cerebellar vermis with gross carcinomatous meningeal spread over the posterior cerebellum. In summary, this unfortunate patient developed breast cancer at an early age that, despite a aggressive attempt to control her disease, ran a typical course with widespread metastases to common target organs. The immediate terminating event was gram negative sepsis due to Serratia marcescens.
