This is a paucicellular lesion in a dense sclerotic/fibrotic background with amyloid deposition. The cellularity is composed of round to oval nucleated cells with scant cytoplasm. The nuclei have stippled chromatin and inconspicuous nucleoli. This is compared to the patient's recent re-excision, and the morphology is comparable.
