Immunohistochemical studies show tumor cells to be diffusely and strongly positive for vimentin. ---- Not shown: The tumor is focally positive for EMA, S100 and CAM5.2. Rare tumor cell positivity is noted with CD10. The tumor cells are negative for CK7, CK20 and RCC-1. The tumor has a very high Ki67 labeling index.
