35B1,2 H&E shows the tumor has a solid growth pattern and infiltrate into the bone marrow space. The tumor cells have distinct cell borders with cytoplasmic clearing ('clear cell' appearance). The tumor nuclei are small, round, irregular, hyperchromatic and with rare macronucleoli. Mitotic figures are not readily identifiable.
