Case 43 History ---- The patient is a 61 year old man with a right temporal brain tumor. Operative procedure: Intraoperative MRI craniotomy for right temporal mass. ---- 43A The tumor consists of a mass of irregularly shaped glands consisting of cells with pleomorphic nuclei, prominent nucleoli, and abundant eosinophilic cytoplasm. Some of the malignant glands form micropapillary structures. Frequent mitoses are present as well as extracellular mucin. (H&E)
