Case 47 History ---- The patient is a 46-year-old man with history of metastatic non-small cell lung cancer s/p chemotherapy, radiation, and resection of the primary tumor. He now presents with nausea, vomiting, dizziness, and ataxia. Operative procedure: Craniotomy for tumor excision. ---- 47A The neoplasm shows sheets poorly differentiated cells with pleomorphic nuclei, prominent nucleoli, and abundant eosinophilic cytoplasm. Numerous mitoses are present, as are rare cells with small amounts of intracellular mucin. The tumor invades into surrounding normal cerebellar tissue.
