Case 77 History ---- The patient was a 67 year old woman who was originally diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma of the right breast 3 years prior, which was ER positive, PR negative, Her-2 negative. The patient then underwent lumpectomy and right axillary dissection followed by adjuvant chemoradiation and hormonal therapy with aromatase inhibitors. The patient now presents with new complaints of a three-week history of fatigue, decreased appetite, and frequent falls. MR imaging performed in 07/2014 showed two large intra-axial, hyper-enhancing lesions with extensive vasogenic edema causing midline shift and effacement of the frontal horns at the lateral ventricles. The second lesion is located in the left cerebellum, also causing midline shift and effacement of the basilar cisterns, measuring 5.0 x 3.3 cm. Operative procedure: Left frontal craniotomy for resection of brain tumor.
