Case 79 History ---- The patient is a 51 year old woman with a history of breast cancer. Operative procedure: Excision of cerebellar metastasis. ---- 79A Sections show an infiltrative adenocarcinoma comparable to her breast primary, but now contains more foci of necrosis, and is of higher grade cytologically. ---- As the patient also has a lung mass, immunohistochemical stains were performed to attempt to differentiate a lung from a breast origin of the cerebellar metastasis.
