Most malignant cells in this case are immunoreactive for HER-2 which shows strong membrane staining. ---- Not shown: Mammaglobin and GCDEFP show patchy immunoreactivity within the tumor cells. Progesterone receptor (PR) is immunoreactive in rare cells. Based on the histomorphologic features and the immunostaining profile this neoplasm is most consistent with metastatic breast carcinoma.
