CD34 highlights vasculature only and lacks ramified (“spider”) cells. ---- Comment: The collective morphological and immunohistochemical features are consistent with a low grade glioneuronal tumor that expresses both GFAP and synaptophysin, although we thought the GFAP was more substantial than expected. Therefore, we submitted the case for DNA methylome analysis at the NIH. The diagnosis by NIH analysis of the DNA methylome was Central Neurocytoma.
