2H Central Neurocytoma, intraventricular, atypical (Case 2) Ki67 2.jpg
The proliferation marker Ki67 stains an increased subset of tumor cell nuclei at variable density, ranging focally up to 9.2%. ---- Comment: The overall histomorphological and immunohistochemical characteristics are that of an Atypical Central Neurocytoma (WHO Grade II). The designation of atypical (WHO Grade II) is applied in this case because of the elevated Ki67 beyond 2-3%.
