Reactivity for neurofilament is present in a small subset of entrapped cortical neuronal somata, as well as in evenly dispersed axons distributed in the majority of tissue fragments, illustrating the tumor's infiltrative pattern; however, one fragment of tumor tissue exhibits almost complete exclusion of axonal processes.
