Microscopic examination of the sections shows neoplasm consistent with a DNT. The tumor is composed of round, hyperchromatic nuclei with indistinct cytoplasmic boundaries and clear cytoplasm and is moderately cellular with nodules of tumor cells separated by pools of mucinous-appearing material.
