The majority of tumor cells in these regions resemble oligodendroglioma containing small round uniform nuclei with delicate chromatin and clear perinuclear halos. These mucin-rich nodules have a patterned appearance, with the oligodendroglioma-like cells mostly lining up around blood vessels and small aggregates of axons.
