Case 27 History ---- The patient is a 35 year old woman who presented with episodes of dizziness. MRI 3 years previously demonstrated a benign appearing cyst in the left posterior mesial temporal lobe. MRI in 2 years later showed interval development of enhancement with an increased T2 signal within the lesion. The clinical and radiological differential diagnosis included a DNT, ganglioglioma or low-grade glial neoplasm. Operative procedure: Temporal occipital craniotomy and tumor resection with IMRI. ---- A single discrete lesion is hyperintense in a MRI T2-weighted with contrast administered scan.
