(NeuN IHC) ---- Not shown: The tumor exhibits a Ki-67/MiB proliferation index up to 1.3% (by manual count). ---- Comment: The collective findings are consistent with a diagnosis of dysembryoplastic neuroepithelial tumor (DNET), CNS WHO grade 1. The presence of extensive surrounding neuronal heterotopia/cortical dysplasia indicates that this is a 'complex' lesion.
