The lesion stained for synaptophysin shows disorientation of the neuropil and decoration of the axons with punctate synaptophysin containing elements. Synaptophysin also highlights the cytoplasm of rare cells embedded within microcysts. The lesion is shown at 20X (2D2,4), and 40X (2D3). (SYN IHC)
