Case 7 History ---- The patient is a 16-year-old boy who developed headaches followed by seizures. MRI showed a 3.8 x 2.8 cm well-circumscribed partially cystic mass within the left occipital cortex. Operative procedure: Craniotomy for occipital tumor resection. ---- 7A1-3 MRI studies show the occipital lesion to be hyperintense in FLAIR scan (7A1), hypointense without enhancement in T1-weighted image with contrast (7A2) and hyperintense with T2-weighted with contrast (7A3).
