A one micron thick plastic embedded toluidine blue stained section shows that rare large neurons (arrow) have the same cytoplasmic content as the anucleate round structures which may represent neuron cell bodies whose nuclei are out of the plane of section or dilated neurites/spheroids containing cytosomes and dense core vesicles.
