1C1-7 This is a moderately cellular neoplasm composed predominantly of neoplastic glial and large neuronal cells with variable morphologies. There are both mononucleate and multinucleated cells with neuronal features, including enlarged vesicular nuclei with prominent nucleoli and abundant amphophilic cytoplasm. Numerous eosinophilic granular bodies are identified. There are lymphoid aggregates along perivascular spaces. There is no microvascular proliferation or necrosis. Only rare mitotic figures are present.
