Reticulin largely stains the vessels and septae; however, there is minimal intercellular deposition, in distinction to PXA (reticulin) ---- Ancillary data (not shown): Rare NeuN immunoreactive elements reflect entrapped cortical neurons. Tumor neurons are typically hypo- or non-reactive for NeuN . The Ki-67 proliferative index is low overall, however it reaches 3.8% focally.
