Other neoplastic cells appear astrocytic with small, atypical, hyperchromatic nuclei, scant eosinophilic cytoplasm, and long processes. Microvascular proliferation and endothelial hyperplasia are not appreciated, but many blood vessels exhibit robust perivascular lymphocytic infiltrates and associated mural changes.
