Sections show fragments of cortex with an increased cellularity and disarray. Prominent cells with plentiful glassy cytoplasm, large nuclei with finely stippled chromatin, and prominent nucleoli are seen. In a number of instances, the cytoplasm is extensive and the cells are strangely shaped. (H&E)
