2B4,5 H&E stained sections show a glioneuronal tumor composed of well-circumscribed pale nodules of large neuronal elements with prominent cytoplasmic and parenchymal vacuoles. The tumor cells have large oval nuclei with vesicular chromatin and prominent nucleoli. Mitoses are not identified. There is no evidence of microvascular proliferation or necrosis. (H&E)
