4A7 Papillary Glioneuronal Tumor (PGNT, Case 4) H&E 9.jpg
4A7-9 Dispersed between these pseudopapillae are small neurocytic to ganglioid appearing cells that are slightly larger than the 'monolayer' cells and feature slightly less dense chromatin; their cytoplasm is relatively inconspicuous on routine staining. These latter cells are occasionally discohesive (arrows, 4A8,9) or embedded in a neuropil like background. More mature large ganglion-like cells are sparse. Mitoses, necrosis and microvascular proliferation are all absent. (H&E)
